Day 2 of our exterior makeover

The white trim and front porch are finished, making a big difference and highlighting architectural details.

Day 2 of our exterior makeover

The project is moving right along! Yesterday's exciting news continues. Today, the crew finished painting all the white trim and the front porch on the house's exterior! Take a moment and look at that all-white front porch, which used to be the same color as the house. I love it!

There are several windows on the front of the house, some of which are covered with paper.
A two-story house with a large front porch is in the process of being painted.

Along with the porch, the crisp white trim is a significant first step, highlighting the house's architectural details and setting the stage for the main event—painting the body of the house!

A house with a large window is being painted. The windows and doors are covered with brown paper to protect them from the paint.
A house with a large arched window and French doors is being painted. The siding is a light blue color and the trim is white.

Admittedly, there's a slight nervous excitement about our color choice. Even though we did a test swatch, it's still hard to imagine what the entire house will look like painted in our chosen color. It will be a significant shift from the light blue exterior we started with. However, we feel it'll turn heads and make the house look new and more modern. Fingers crossed, we're still obsessed after the paint dries!
